I found a few new blogs this week. We are hitting that time of summer when there is more to do than anyone can possibly keep up with. I wrote about several things I want to do, but won’t. The things I plan to do never even made my posts. Check out our Event Calendar for more, or check out these great sites.
I found this great local blog Tour Moms this week. This family (or families - I’m not sure) record their outings around the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota. They then shares the details with us, including price, location, and really cute pictures of their kids. Another bookmark-worthy site. This week, they reviewed St. Paul Corner Drug and their very reasonably-priced icecream. Check out all the details here.
Stephanie Kwong of PhenoMNal Twin Cities gears her site toward the young professional crowd, but most of us used to be there and there is definitely some overlap with family friendly events. This week she has a list of upcoming MN Sinfonia concerts. If you are looking for some good cheap date nights, you may want to bookmark her page, too.
Maja Beckstrom at MinnMoms has made her picks for the week. Of particular interest for those of us on a tight budget – Bike With A Ranger on Saturday and the Pollinator Party on Thursday.
Finally, you won’t want to miss Gianna at A Traveling Thought‘s review of the local splash parks. We were just at Central Park in St. Anthony on the 4th. That splash park is as beautifully creative as it is fun. There is not a lot of shade though, so bring water and sun block.
