There are some things to do around town this weekend. It’s just a little slow. If you decide to go to Como Park, keep in mind that holidays tend to be busy days plus the new pool opens this weekend. Not that crowds need to deter you, but you might want to take advantage of the free shuttle rides from the State Fair Grounds.
Also, don’t forget the Minnesota Institute of Arts is always free (but closed on Mondays). This would be a less crowded weekend then Target Family Day weekends. Since it looks like it will probably be wet and hot, visiting the MIA could be a nice reprieve.
You may want to call ahead for any regularly scheduled Monday events, but I went on the Wild Rumpus website and didn’t see any indication they were closed. My guess is that malls will be open as usual.
Have a happy Memorial Day weekend.
