On Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. your family can join a naturalist at Coon Rapids Dam Regional Park to walk the trails looking for feathered friends. Spend time looking for new birds and the changes this time of year brings.  If you want to do more at home, try the  Minnesota DNR Interactive Birdsong Poster and Young Naturalists page.  We had fun figuring out which birds were making the songs in our backyard and then trying to spot them.  We also carry a Backyard Birdsguide in our Family Fun Store.
