Family Night at Midtown Global Market has an African theme this week. Take your family between: 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., for free live music by the Breck School Marimba Band, a children’s play area and free balloons for the first 50 children.  Also this week, learn about  Books For Africa at Simba Craftware.  Fifty cents will buy a book for a child in Africa — a nice way to encourage giving on a budget.

If you want to extend the African theme to family game time at home, you could make this Homemade Mancala game or just buy a pre-made game from our Family Fun Store.

You could also pair this with the EcoArts Festival on Saturday.
