On Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., your family can enjoy the music, dance, crafts and traditions from Norway at the Landmark Center. Admission is free and parking is free on the street or in Macy’s Ramp on Sundays. They do ask that you bring a non perishable food donation for the Hallie Q. Brown Food Shelf, but that’s another great way to help instill an attitude of giving in our children.
If you want to bring home some Norwegian family fun Bezzerwizzer is the latest family game in Norway. It is a trivia game with a twist. This is probably most appropriate for the older kids and adults. We have it in our Family Fun Store. For fun with the younger kids, Family Fun Magazine has these cute Norwegian Cork Trolls. For a easy Norwegian family dinner, I think Norwegian Pancakes or Pannekaken would be cool. No one ever turns down pancakes in my house.
