The Minneapolis St. Patrick’s Day Association welcomes your family to join in celebrating St. Patrick’s Day 2012.  The Minneapolis St. Patrick’s Day Parade will be held on Saturday, March 17th, on the Nicollet Mall beginning 6:30 p.m. The parade route will start at Nicollet and 13th Street and run to 5th Street. via Minneapolis St. Patrick’s Day Association.

Metro Transit buses and light rail will be free from 6 p.m. through the last scheduled trip.  If you live close enough, you can ride both ways, if not, you will at least have your ride home free.

Afterwards, come home and warm up with some Irish Flag Stew and Whole Wheat Soda Bread from Simple Kids.  If you would like mood music, we suggest our favorite local Irish band, Wild Colonial Bhoys.
