The Coon Rapids Dam Regional Park is celebrating deer season with a White-tailed Deer Investigation on Sunday between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. Your family can learn about white-tailed deer by touching artifacts like fur, bones, legs, antlers, jaws and skulls and listening to sounds they make to communicate. You can even create your own replica deer scat to take home. That’s a keeper for their portfolios, or maybe a grandparent gift — whatever.
