I know it doesn’t sound fun, but my daughter loves Rescue Heroes, so this will be a great way to incorporate something good into television. Here are some fun ways to kick off the month. Start on Saturday, October 2 at the Home Depot, where the project of the month for kids is a fire boat. Then head over to your library. While you’re there pick some books about firemen and get a pass to the Firefighters Hall a & Musuem. When you get home, check out the fire safety printables from the National Fire Protection Association. Don’t forget to have a fire drill.
